Tyler Penrod: The Founder

Tyler has had passion for art since he was a child. Also developing a love for technology, ie. cameras and computers, the digitizing of art made his choice of career an easy one. With the best of both worlds in the same field of filmmaking, Tyler chose to begin film school. Already being enrolled at Liberty University, the opening of the Liberty University Zaki Gordon School of Cinematic Arts could not have been better timed.

Liberty’s philosophy in it’s film school is different than that of most other film schools. It holds value in diving right into filmmaking and learning through a hands-on process. Due to his training with Liberty, Tyler has worked on 15 short films, and 2 feature films, including the soon coming Kendrick Brothers film War Room. He is most familiar with the Red Digital Cinema cameras and Canon DSLRs. For editing, he works primarily with Adobe Premiere Pro.

The Business

PenrodFilms’ ultimate goal is to create it’s own quality short and feature length films. Until that time, Tyler will work on projects as part of the camera department. Also, during the time between feature projects, he is available to do freelance work on commercials, music videos, and any other video/photo work you can think of!

The Philosophy

The satisfaction of the customer is the top priority. Quality will never be sacrificed. Punctuality is key. Any freelance work done for your company or personal use will be done right, and on time. We believe that any work paid for must not only live up to, but exceed the expectations of the customer. Our promise is that we will deliver a product worth showing, for an amount worth trading.
